Sulfur is a genre-blending rock band made up of three brothers from the Atlanta, Georgia area. Their music is entirely original, shaped by a melting pot of the sounds they grew up on—from the heaviness of Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains to the atmospheric depth of Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, and Deftones. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Zach Michaud, bassist Alex Michaud, and drummer Riley Michaud, Sulfur recently stepped onto the Atlanta scene with their first live show, marking the beginning of their emergence as a new voice in the local music circuit. While Sulfur is a new name in the musical landscape, the story behind the band began years ago.

Music has shaped each brother's journey in different ways. Zach has been playing guitar since he was five years old and has always lived and breathed music. Riley also began playing at a young age but took a detour in high school to persue wrestling before ultimately returning to the passion that had always been there. Alex's musical journey began with piano as a child, but it wasn't till several years ago that his creativity reignited. Determined to make music his own, he taught himself both bass and guitar, adding his own style and versatility to the band. 

Though each brother's journey was different, they were all drawn back to the same place—a shared love of writing and performing original music. Their lifelong bond and genuine chemistry gives Sulfur a sound and energy that audiences connect with both on and off the stage. With years of experience behind them and a clear creative direction ahead, Sulfur is just getting started.
